Cookie Policy

Last updated: 2026-07-24

This Cookie Policy explains how Adswave (“we”, “us”, or “our”) uses cookies and similar technologies on adswave.io. It should be read together with our Privacy Policy.

What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. Similar technologies such as localStorage and pixels serve comparable purposes. Cookies can be “first-party” (set by us) or “third-party” (set by another provider, such as Google).

How we use cookies

We treat our public marketing pages and our signed-in application differently:

  • Marketing pages (for example our homepage and sign-up pages): in addition to strictly necessary cookies, we use analytics and advertising cookies to understand how visitors find and use the site. These load only after you consent.
  • The Adswave application (after you sign in): we use only strictly necessary first-party cookies and localStorage to keep you signed in and remember your preferences. We measure in-app product usage with our own first-party, server-side telemetry, and we do not load third-party advertising or analytics trackers on these pages.

Categories of cookies

Strictly necessary (always on)

Required for the site and application to function — for example authentication (Firebase), security, and remembering your cookie choices. These do not require consent.

Analytics

Google Analytics 4, delivered via Google Tag Manager, helps us understand aggregate traffic and how our marketing pages perform. Set only after you consent.

Advertising / marketing

Google advertising tags help us measure the effectiveness of our campaigns. Set only after you consent.

Managing your consent

When you first visit a marketing page we show a cookie banner so you can accept or reject non-essential cookies. We use Google Consent Mode, so analytics and advertising tags stay disabled until you grant consent. You can change or withdraw your choice at any time by reopening the cookie settings from the banner or the link in our website footer.

Third parties

Where we use Google services, their processing is described in Google’s cookie documentation. Our cookie banner and consent records are provided by CookieScript.
