Terms of Service

Service description

Adswave helps agencies and teams oversee Google Ads and Meta Ads accounts in one place. After you connect accounts with secure sign-in, the Service provides budget tracking, campaign analysis, product and keyword checks, creative insights, change history, alerts, and client reports.

Adswave fetches advertising metrics from Google and Meta when you use the Service. We do not keep a lasting archive of your campaign metrics. Short-lived caches may be used for speed. Adswave does not modify your advertising accounts. Analysis is read-only; you make changes in Google Ads or Meta yourself. See our Privacy Policy for details on what we store.

Account responsibilities

• You must provide accurate and complete information when creating your account.
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.
• You must notify us immediately at hello@adswave.io if you suspect unauthorised access to your account.
• You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service.
• If you invite teammates, you are responsible for the access you grant them and for ensuring they use the Service in line with these Terms.

Acceptable use

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations. You shall not:

• Use the Service to violate any applicable law or regulation.
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Service, other accounts, or connected systems.
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service.
• Use the Service in a way that could damage, disable, or impair its operation.
• Resell, sublicense, or redistribute access to the Service without written permission.
• Use automated scraping or bulk extraction against the Service beyond normal product use.

Third-party advertising platforms

The Service accesses data from Google Ads and Meta Ads through their official tools. Your use of the Service is also subject to the terms and policies of these platforms:

• Google: Adswave’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We only request data necessary to provide the Service, do not sell or share Google user data for advertising or data brokering, and do not use it to build user profiles for ads.
• Meta: Data obtained through Meta’s advertising tools is used solely to provide analytics and insights within the Service. We comply with Meta’s Platform Terms and do not share Meta data with third parties or use it for purposes beyond the Service.

You are responsible for ensuring that your use of the data displayed by Adswave complies with each platform’s terms of service, and that you have the right to connect the ad accounts you link.

Payment terms

Certain features of the Service require a paid subscription. All payments are processed by Stripe. By subscribing to a paid plan, you agree to the following:

• Subscription fees are billed in advance on a recurring basis (monthly or annually, depending on your chosen plan).
• You authorise Stripe to charge your payment method for the applicable fees.
• New accounts may start with a free trial as described on our pricing page. After the trial, continued access requires a paid plan unless we state otherwise.
• You may cancel from Billing at any time. You keep access through the end of the current billing period. Fees already paid are non-refundable except where required by applicable law (for example consumer cooling-off rights that apply to you).
• We reserve the right to change pricing with at least 30 days’ notice. Continued use after the change constitutes acceptance.

Intellectual property

The Service, including its design, code, logos, and documentation, is owned by Adswave and protected by intellectual property laws. You retain ownership of any data you provide or connect to the Service. We do not claim ownership of your advertising data. Reports and exports you generate remain yours to use for your business, subject to these Terms and the platform policies of Google and Meta.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law:

• The Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied.
• Adswave provides analytics and insights only. You remain solely responsible for decisions and changes made in your advertising accounts based on data or suggestions provided by the Service.
• Adswave shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of revenue, data, or business opportunities.
• Our total aggregate liability for any claims arising out of or related to the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.
• We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of data retrieved from third-party advertising platforms.

Termination

• You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us or using the account deletion option in the Service settings. See also Data Deletion.
• We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time if you violate these Terms, if required by law, or if we discontinue the Service.
• Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. We will delete your personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
• Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including Limitation of Liability, Intellectual Property, and Governing Law) will continue to apply.

Modifications to the Service and Terms

We reserve the right to modify or discontinue the Service (or any part of it) at any time, with or without notice. The Service may evolve over time, including features marked as “Coming soon”. We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email or by placing a prominent notice in the Service. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

Governing law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Hungary. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Budapest, Hungary, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protections that apply to you under the law of your country of residence.
