Data Deletion
Last updated: 2026-07-18
You can remove your data from Adswave at any time. This page explains what gets deleted, what stays in Google or Meta, and how to request deletion.
What Adswave stores
Adswave stores your account and organization settings (workspaces, clients, budgets, report setups, alert rules, team roles, and branding). Access tokens for connected Google Ads and Meta Ads accounts are stored securely so we can fetch metrics when you use the product.
We do not keep a lasting archive of your Google or Meta campaign metrics. Numbers are fetched when you open the app. Short-lived caches may exist for speed and clear when they expire, when you disconnect, or when the service restarts. Full details are in our Privacy Policy.
Disconnect an ad account
- Sign in to Adswave and open Connections.
- Disconnect Google Ads or Meta Ads for the accounts you want to remove.
- Disconnecting revokes our stored access for that connector and stops further data access. Temporary caches for that connection are cleared.
You can also revoke Adswave's access from your Google Account permissions or Meta Business Integrations settings. Both have the same effect on our access.
Delete your account and organization data
In Settings, account owners can export their organization's data and request full account deletion. Deletion removes your organization's workspaces, clients, budgets, reports, alert rules, branding, team invites, and stored connector tokens from our systems.
Deleting Adswave does not delete your campaigns or data inside Google Ads or Meta. Those stay in the ad platforms you control.
Request deletion by email
If you can no longer access your account, email hello@adswave.io from the address associated with your account. Include that you want data deletion. We will process the request and confirm when it is complete. Associated personal data is permanently removed within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.
Meta-initiated deletion
If you removed Adswave from Meta and Meta redirected you here, we treat that as a request to clear Meta-related access and cached data for your connection. You can check progress on the deletion status page.
